made in taiwan but raised in lake wobegon.
things i love (the indulgent list):
light - lots of it, and naturally please | water - just about in any form, but especially the kind that crashes on the beach | the perfect cuppa tea | boutique hotels (just the 2 words make me want to pack) | great design - from architecture to toasters | bowls - not just any, but stripey, bright, charming bowls | a frothy steamy cup of milk with coffee | suitcases (because they go with travel) | my patio on a summer evening | a profusion of indigo lobelia in a terra cotta planter | chocolate chip ice cream | chocolate without the ice cream | modern family (my comic relief) | my blackberry | windows - lots of them. and french doors. and anything with divided light glass | my remarkable friends who walk with me through the blissful & mundane | my family who has given me my strange norwegian-chinese heritage, an abiding faith, and an unquenchable resilient love.
